These days, hardly anyone will be surprised to learn that an audio soundtrack was made for a specific computer game. All over the world, according to the established tradition, virtually all new computer games’ soundtracks are released on vinyl. Coupled with that, in the last few years we’ve seen reissues of 8- and 16-bit game consoles’ soundtracks along with their arcade versions’ soundtracks.

Of course, in both cases the publishers are focused on and driven by the collectors’ value of these editions, where the actual music is secondary and serves as a background, or an add-on. But there are exceptions. And we would like to present such a rarity to you.

Within the framework of the project called Future Grail our team has partnered with an independent computer game developer from Spain called Fictiorama Studios. Together we are in the process of preparing a first issue of a physical format soundtrack for an exciting 2015 anti-utopian quest called Dead Synchronicity.

All music for this game was written by the mysterious KOVALSKI band, clearly inspired by jazz-rock and progressive rock of the Italian Golden Era of the 70s. GOBLIN influence permeates these compositions from the very first notes, as well as Giallo and B-movie themes of the same era. Due to this fact, the soundtrack is very cinematic, ambient and integral.
